Uniting the World with Mission Heal

Our Nation has faced threats from its neighboring countries for the past 20 to 30 years. We have fought wars as well as have been threatened with terrorism. There has been tremendous efforts to unite with Nations that threaten our peace and tranquility. It is often observed that retaliations as well as wars emanate from within the country itself. These wars or riots are fought at the expense of innocents.

Conflicts within the Nation itself leads to insecurity as well as destruction of public as well as private property. Conflicts with other nations are more problematic and each step must be decisive to provoke a war.

Need for Unity:
With wars and riots that cause destruction of the country, there is only one solution to this problem: Peace. Peace between two countries facilitate a good bonding between them as well as boost the economies. Whereas war only creates hatred and destruction for all. It is necessary to be equipped with the latest war technologies, but these war machines should only be our last resort. We have to parley for the peace to be between the two nations before taking drastic steps.

Results of War:
The wars or riots result in both the sides losing. In this nuclear age, a single nuclear explosive has the capacity to wipe out an entire nation. Only two such bombs are required to wash away the face of two nations of the planet. During wars, people lose their property and lives to which no government can ever compensate. The economic activity of the government ceases immediately. In short the losses are substantial.

Riots are also resulting in hostility when two parties that think differently, Riots get people injured and killed. They also result in public and private loss. In today’s world, even a simple remark or a Facebook update may trigger a riot. There is a need in the society to contain this issue. It is necessary for two people with differences to come to conclusion peacefully.

Mission Heal:
Mission Heal is an NGO that works towards maintaining peace in society. This NGO is based in Delhi, and has spread all across India to resolve small riots or stop the riots that may break open. Mission Heal has no political influences and hence are autonomous. They were instrumental in pacifying many riots.

Mission Heal has a set of objectives that they follow to uphold serenity in the states. Mission Heal creates awareness regarding this issue and educate the young and adults about the necessity of peace in the state. Mission Heal inspires people to follow the footsteps of great leaders of the past and resolve issues and differences peacefully. They also teach people that not only India but the whole world is in need of peace. The conclusion of both parties losing is the final message that Mission Heal teaches its people. With all this advice, Mission Heal makes people responsible citizens of the country.
With the proper teachers, Mission Heal has been able to minimize the riots taking place in the country and make the country more prosperous.

Rural Transformation through Mission Heal

A greater percentage of citizens in India are living in poverty; that is according to the latest statistics on the country’s poverty level. This is the case with many countries of the world which has necessitated the respective governments to put in place various strategies and schemes that will help boost the quality of life for all needy members in the society. However, such schemes face stiff challenges such as corruption so they never get to see the light of the day. Mission Heal among other non-profit organization has thus come out with an equal measure to help improve the quality of life for the citizens.

This organization is basically formed by volunteers and well wishers with a big heart to donate and fund various resources needed to help raise the standards of living for the concerned groups in society. The following areas are thus considered of great concern in providing necessary support;
  • Housing- there are many people living in abject poverty in the slums. The conditions here are never friendly more especially when natural calamities strike such as floods which wash away homes of people leaving them depressed and without help. The trust has come in handy almost on a yearly basis to help these families at least have a roof over their heads.
  • Health- this is a critical area in people’s lives and Mission Heal is determined to ensure a healthy working nation through the supply and provision of medical services and facilities. Many families in India are not privileged enough to afford medical checkups and treatment which lead to untimely deaths which could otherwise be prevented. The main objective in Mission Heal is to boost the quality of life and that entails preventing such deaths by ensuring all members of society get access to medical facilities any time they want.
  • Food- among the basic needs, food is one that not all families are lucky enough to afford. Some families are not even lucky to put three meals on the table per day, which has led to emaciation by the individuals. Mission Heal has come out to help such families with relief food so that they can sustain their lives.
  • HIV/Aids prevention and care- the infected members are usually left in isolation due to their condition which makes them more depressed. These people need care and attention just like the normal counterparts, but many tend to distance themselves from them. Mission Heal is determined to remove trauma and depression from the patients by being close and concerned about their welfare at all times.
  • Gender inequality issues- women for a long time have been considered as the weak members and thus sidelined in important development matters. This kind of inequality is among the many challenges facing the society. Mission Heal is here to help resolve such issues to make the society a better place for all people regardless of their gender.
Rural transformation may seem hard and tasking, but Mission Heal is determined to bring about the change that ensures all people live in better conditions. The basic needs are at the core of the organization’s agenda and through various campaigns, many people have been lifted to better living standards through Mission Heal.

Mission Heal : Protecting Rights of Locals

Mission Heal is one of the best organizations designed to help improve the living standards of the high number of vulnerable kids and the poverty stricken communities across India. It is unfortunate that the highest number of these people are the children who cannot afford the basic needs such as shelter, clothing, proper health care, and a good education. These vulnerable children as well as their communities are provided with a platform on which they can express themselves and better their living conditions. The organization targets children living in the streets as well as the urban homeless children born of sex workers.   In addition, the organization is dedicated in the fight against the child labor as well as the rights for disadvantaged girls who feel discriminated and face everyday life.

Child Rights
The Mission Heal organization is determined to help build the world in which every Indian child can get the right to survive, secure, and a healthy development. The organization has built a reputation around its focus on bringing a quality change in the lives for the underprivileged kids in the country. Besides, the organization is not only dedicated to helping kids out of hardships, the organization is also renowned for its effort in abolishing the hardships that every kid is exposed to in the country. Mission Heal has been actively involved in encouraging the creation of a safe environment for the children to facilitate their development of a great personality.

It is the believe of the organization that no kid should be subjected to sympathy and a case of charity. On the contrary, every kid, regardless of the birth and circumstances must be treated equally. In a world where millions of kids are subject to the child labor, the organization has actively been engaged in the fight for the rights of the kids and prevents the exploitation of the children. In fact, child labor is considered an illegal endeavor punishable by law.  At the same time, the organization is hardwired to help millions of kids across the country access proper education. Unfortunately, there are over 8.1 million children in India who are not in school.
Mission Heal is dedicated to ensure these children get to school and stay out of the child labor cases that are on the rise across the country, promising each and every one of them a brighter future.

Women Rights
Unfortunately, women too are subject to victimization across the country. Most of the women cannot even meet the basic needs yet due to lack of the resources and freedom to take any action without seeking permission from their partners. The women are subjected to hunger and poverty with a torrent of problems. The discrimination of women is a global crisis. Fortunately for the Indian women, the Mission Heal organization is dedicated to helping fight these injustices by providing the women with a platform on which they can express themselves. Mission Heal has enjoyed numerous success stories which are why they are ranked top as one of the best organizations in the country.

Mission Heal | Making a Difference

The need to see the smiles on the faces of the people around us adds onto the beauty of our lives. Life is magical, especially when you get equal chances in life. We have all heard of the saying that we are all born equal. Unfortunately, some people are more disadvantaged than others in our communities. Everyone who is a believer in the need for better life for everyone, they will go to the extra mile in ensuring that every person gets an equal chance in life. These chances include quality education, healthcare, shelter as well as proper nutrition.

While the above services may be left to the government, it has become evident that no government can help improve the living standard of its people without the help of non-governmental organizations. The Mission Heal has been in the forefront changing the lives of India. Unlike with other non-profit organizations who are in it for the huge profits, The Mission Heal is aimed and devoted to upgrading the lives of the less fortunate persons within the country. The organization works to help improve the quality of life in the society and preserve the environment and reshaping the lives of the underprivileged individuals in the society.
Creating Smiles
The Mission Heal is run by volunteers who are committed to their endeavor and driven by their love for humanity. None of the services provided by the organization is paid for.  It is amazing how these individuals can dedicate their time and resources to help the needy individuals across the country. There is no other nongovernmental organization that has had such an outstanding track record as The Mission Heal  in helping the underprivileged  individuals across the country.
It is a fact that even the smallest act of kindness goes a long way in making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate individuals. There is nothing that can be compared to the beauty of seeing the sad faces of the less fortunate brightened up by acts of kindness. The Mission Heal has done an amazing job, leaving smiling faces at every turn.
The ability of giving new life to the underprivileged individual through acts of kindness such as distribution of foods, free and quality education for both primary and secondary schools, clothing, and medical facilities for the needy are just but a few ways through which The Mission Heal is changing lives across  India.
Free Services
The best part is the fact that all these services are offered to the members of the community free of charge. These services are offered by individuals with the best interest for the need at heart. Unlike other private sector organizations, The Mission Heal does not target any profits. With centers distributed across all corners of the country, the organization is able to reach less fortunate individuals, even in the most remote parts of the country. The organizations is also actively involved in helping individuals in cases of disaster. To offer the quality services, the organization works hand in hand with the government reaching all corners of the country.

Mission Heal | Multiple Events By Mission Heal That Enhance Life

Mission Heal is set to help improve the quality of life for the poor and needy in the society through a number of events organized and run by the NGO. Such events are organized in various parts of the country from time to time so that all needy and less privileged individuals are reached. The events include some extracurricular activities targeting specific groups of people such as the children, elderly, widows and the physically disabled. The events are a perfect way to bring a smile and happiness to such groups of people. The reality of the matter is that there are many people within India with various devastation's and problems which have ended up taking away their joy and happiness. Depression becomes part of their daily lives, which is quite disturbing. Below are some of the events organized by Mission Heal to help salvage the lives of the needy and underprivileged.

Celebrating birthdays with the needy

How sad it is when the less privileged children see their friends celebrating their birthdays and receiving presents when they never get the chance to enjoy this special day. Mission Heal comes out to help such children by celebrating with them this special day in their lives. This is part of showing love to the needy children, more especially the ones in the slums and children homes. This makes the children feel special and appreciated just like their friends from rich families.

Organizing for short trips for the needy children

Children in the slums and rural areas never get a chance to enjoy life going to new places for adventure. By understanding the kind of impact this has on children, Mission Heal comes forward to help the children travel to new places for adventure and learning. Such short trips are very vital in bringing happiness to the children. Such natural sites as the mountains, museums and many others are examples of places where Mission Heal takes the children to have fun.

Organizing for various competitions for children

Art and music are the most common competitions organized by Mission Heal. In the process the most talented children are picked and offered special training regarding the talents to become stars in their respective fields. These competitions help nurture and develop skills for young needy children in the society. This is a smart way for the children to get their rightful place in the society.

Celebrating republic days

While the children of the rich never miss simple occasions and functions, there are many children out there who never get a chance to attend even the big functions like celebrating republic days. What Mission Heal does is special to ensure all needy and less privileged children have their happiness restored through such events.
The manner in which children are brought up matters a lot in shaping up their future;by contributing heavily in such events, Mission Heal has made a difference by ensuring all the children have their rights protected and above all made happy at any available opportunity.

Mission Heal | Changing lives of the Indian kids with Mission Heal

The number of non-governmental organizations in India dedicated to helping better the living conditions of the population is on an increase. Every now and then, a new organization with different goals joins the platform. As such, with the help of these groups working hand in hand with the Indian government, lives have either been changed or saved. One such organization is Mission Heal.

The main goal of this organization is to help improve the lives of the millions of children living in poverty across India. It is a sad fact that there are over a million children across India who cannot afford the basic needs such as proper nutrition and an education.  Mission Heal helps change the lives of these kids giving them a chance in life. Every kid is entitled to good education, proper health care and other basic needs. While the governments are dedicated to helping transform the living standards of this population, it is unfortunate that this issue is one of the most politicized by selfless leaders in India and across the globe.

Even in the event that the government is devoted to helping change the lives of these young souls, it is almost impossible for the government alone to realize the goals. As such, the government must work hand in hand with the local and reputable non-governmental organizations with similar objectives. While most private and non-governmental organizations are profit oriented, Mission Heal is devoted to transforming the lives of these individuals at no profit at all. Working hand in hand with the central government and other well wishers, mission heal has been able to reach children in some remote regions in the country.

Main objective
As indicated above, the main objective of the Mission heal foundation is to better the lives of children living under poverty. In addition, the organization helps improve the living standards of these families and communities in a number of ways. Mission heal has invested in centers where they put the children. To better the living standards of the community, the organization has invested in community development projects across the country.  In a community where women, children, and men are dealing with health issues, and indignity, the organization has endeavored to provide equality in the community ensuring no one is subjected to mistreatment of any form.

Every kid is entitled to good education, with this in mind, the organization has been in the front line helping achieve mass literacy for the millions of children across the country who cannot afford the basic education. Where health is concerned, the organization has helped better the health standards facilitating access to medical facilities for millions of Indians living in poverty in some of the remote regions of the country.
These young souls are the future leaders of the country. Mission heal is dedicated to helping them be self reliant individuals that the country depends on. Being in the front line in the fight for rights for the kids, Mission Heal is one of the reputable non-governmental organization in the country with the needs of the kids at heart.

Here are some of the services;

Management of natural resources
There has been reported unequal distribution of resources within India due to corruption cases reported in the sector. Mission Heal has therefore come up with an extensive resource management plan so as to ensure all the resources are equally distributed and better managed to help better the quality of life for all people in different parts of the country. Marginalized areas should also get a share of the natural resources available if the country wants to eliminate the unevenness in the distribution of resources and development of various parts of the country. That is what Mission Heal is here for; to ensure no single community is sidelined from gaining the natural resources available.
Protection of child rights
Children are actually the most vulnerable members of the society when it comes to various aspects of their lives. With Mission Heal, nobody in India is going to take children rights for granted or subject them to harsh conditions such as child labor, denying them access to education, forced early marriages among several others.
Improving the quality of education
Education is one of the pillars of a sustained society with great developments. It helps break the vicious cycle of poverty. Ensuring proper education for all children in the society is therefore something crucial. Mission Heal understands this perfectly and puts child education at the forefront to help achieve the main objective. This is enhanced through distribution of education materials such as books and availing enough teachers in schools. The trust has also set up a number of schools in different parts of the country to enable children who cannot access decent education get their basic training to enable them join higher institutions where they will develop their careers.
Disaster management and awareness

How Mission Heal writes an effective proposal for their fundraising

The working of NGO is very different from other corporate businesses despite having great organizational values and skills. As they are a nonprofit organization, so their performance and continuation of the ongoing projects depends on the funds they receive. There are a number of different funding sources for Mission Heal NGO which include government, corporate funds, wealthy individuals and international donations as well. Except for the funds generated through wealthy individuals, all the rest of the sources require the submission of proposals to get funding. An NGO proposal is nothing but a simple document which contains the information and past projects of your NGO. It also tells about your future projects and the funds that you require for the completion of your future and also the ongoing projects. It is a formal document which needs to be formalized professionally.

Tips for writing an effective proposal for NGO fundraising:
The following are some of the most useful tips devised by Mission Heal NGO for effective proposal writing:
  • The funding agencies also have a number of requirements. They usually give a guideline to the fund seekers in order to produce a fundraising proposal. The NGOs proposal developers must ensure that their proposal is according to the guidelines given by the funding agencies.
  • The NGOs must research well before writing a proposal. They must research about the potential donor and also look to seek information about the future projects which they are looking to take once the funds are granted.
  • The language should be professional yet simple and concise. You must try to say your thing in easy language with minimal use of words. The funding agencies usually have limited time, so they appreciate and entertain those proposals which are easy to understand and to the point.
  • You must double check all the information, data and figures that you are looking to produce in your proposal. Any secondary information produced by government or any other source does have room for errors. Make sure that you completely check all the information before presenting it to the funding agencies.
  • The proposal must also contain the government policies that can affect your project in anyway. You must tell about the opportunities that you can exploit for your project from the government policies.
  • If you have a good portfolio about your past achievements and projects, then write briefly about them. Tell about the working structure of your NGO and how do you manage complex projects.
  • The NGOs must assure the funding agencies in their proposal that how effectively they would utilize the funds when granted. The NGOs for confirmed funds grant must have a transparent fund utilization system.
  • The NGOs must tell the owners that they can ask to backtrack all the money which they have donated. They will be entertained by the NGO to give clear details as where their money has been spent by the NGO.

Mission Heal | Discovering the functions of Mission Heal and other NGOs

An NGO exists solely for the benefit of the people and it is for this reason that NGOs are called nonprofit organizations as well. The NGOs do generate profits, but they are solely meant to be reused again for the welfare of the community. Such NGOs are formed by the voluntary associations of different people who want to work for the benefit of the society by analyzing the needs and prioritizing them. Mission Heal : Our Mission

India and the world at large are faced with many calamities making life quite miserable. This thus calls for an urgent solution to bring about change that will ensure people never die of hunger or people live in various social classes within the same society. It is true that while other people are dying of hunger and poverty, some are full and even feeding quality food to their dogs. This problem of unevenness is quite common not only in India but the rest of the world. Mission Heal is on the forefront to ensure a new hope is given to the society where people are miserable. Together with your support, the change that is required is possible and this is the very mission, Mission Heal wishes to achieve; a mission to ensure equality in the welfare of the entire society. Since its inception, Mission Heal has been working with determination to ensure lifelong changes are brought about so as to improve the society at large.

Facilitating the lives of the poor is the main objective of Mission Heal and is done by engaging the public through media, social media and volunteers that together help build a team that is focused at achieving the main mission. The poor are the most vulnerable to many problems facing the society, including diseases, lack of education and insecurity among others. Mission Heal is therefore here to help protect, educate, prevent diseases and promote a healthy environment for the entire society. All these are achievable through a complete range of planning chartered by the trust to ensure all poor sectors of the society are well taken care of.

The main Mission of improving the quality of life for all Indians and other people outside the country is achieved through the following programs;

  • Provision of medical facilities to those that can’t afford decent medical care and checkups especially the children and disabled
  •  Supply of education materials such as books to ensure all children in the society access basic primary and secondary education which is crucial in advancing their life careers
  • Distribution and awareness campaigns including food and clothing together with awareness campaigns on deadly diseases and natural calamities
  • Funding the needy to support them in their daily operations, especially the widows and the elderly

Many  volunteers have actually come forward to help the Mission Heal achieve this main Mission. By educating the society on the importance of supporting each other, more people are coming in to help the Mission Heal reach more vulnerable members of society and probably change their lives.

Mission Heal further works with other developing NGOs with the same mission so as to reach more of the affected members of the society and sooner achieve the main objective of improving the quality of life. The trust works with full determination for the welfare of all members in the society i.e. the poor and underprivileged. Many needy families have been satisfied already and more are yet to get this amazing help in the near future. Your support counts!

Mission Heal | Promoting Education through Mission Heal

A population of more than a billion, but still a huge chunk of India suffers from illiteracy. Men, women and children are all affected. This disease has led to poverty, strife and backwardness for the affected. People have lost job opportunities as well as independence. Children have been robbed of a future and women have lost the means of a career and independence. Similarly illiterate men could not get any decent job opportunities that would satisfy their families and have to work for lesser wages when they could have been better placed.

After seeing the consequences it is evident that society has lost a lot when they are deprived of a formal education. Even after knowing the after effects why have parents restrained their child from learning to read and write? Why are the majority of women in the poverty stricken families or villages illiterate? Well the answer for this question lies in the fact that many of these families are poor and cannot afford a proper education for their children. Whereas some poor families have more than two children. So many mouths to feed, but less resources hampers the prospect of education of the children. On the other hand women of the lower class have been brought up with a narrow mindset. They believe that women are not entitled to an education and they are slaves to their husbands and society. Such a frame of mind has led to dowry murders or harassments as well as deprives an ambitious woman of a chance to excel.

There are many NGO’s as well as government organizations that work towards educating the underprivileged. Mission Heal is an NGO based in Delhi that has dedicated its resources towards eradicating illiteracy from the society. This huge organization has mobilized its groups to reach its helping hand farther. Mission Heal has no political or religious agendas thus helping all people unbiasedly.

Mission Heal has organized many events to help educate the poor. A free health camp is organized to monitor the health of the poor. Also books and clothes are donated frequently for the poor children. Mid-day meals are provided by Mission Heal, for nourishing the people who cannot afford a square meal. Mission Heal also provoked the right to free education for the lower classes. All these are attempts to make the children and the families broaden their vision and embrace the art of learning. These free camps aim at affiliating a child towards education.

Various government plans have also been sanctioned for this cause. The RTE (Right to Education) validated this. This law has enabled the poor students to take up education without the fear of the cost. The cost of the child’s education is burdened by the state and central government. This shows that the government and the NGO’s have joined the cause for the common good. So why don’t we also come together to help the MissionHeal achieve its goals? After all literacy and education are the only secrets that can take this country to greater heights.

Challenges faced by the Mission Heal NGO

Introduction:
Challenges are common to NGOs and they have to tackle a lot of small and big challenges on a daily basis. Motivation of the NGO staffs, especially the founders and the top executive management is critically important to face such issues. The MissionHeal NGO is no different organization in this regard and they have their share of challenges to be dealt with on a daily basis. Most of the challenges for an NGO are mainly about the donors and donations. The Mission Heal NGO accepts that fundraising is the most difficult job for an NGO today. Sometimes they face a lot of difficulty in approaching their current and potential donors as well. On the other side, the NGOs complaints that sometimes the donors have very high and impractical expectations and ask very difficult questions which most of the representative of the NGOs fail to answer satisfactorily.

The reasons behind failure of NGOs:
An NGO can fail because of a number of reasons. India is dominated by a lot of small scale NGOs who comes into existence by just a single person’s effort. Such organizations take time to settle down with the acquiring of the resources and funds. If they fail to meet the resource requirement and the adequate funds, then obviously such NGOs collapse badly and have to terminate their operation. The small size of NGOs also faces huge problems in targeting the requirements of the community due to their limited resources. It means that a good intention of the founding person is not enough to run a successful NGO. Rather, there is a need for the NGOs to have several dedicated people laying the foundation stone of the NGO having a clear vision and objectives. Otherwise, a weak foundation would always result in the failure of the NGO sooner or later. The MissionHeal NGO is blessed to have a strong foundation which is always helping the NGO in all its operational and administrative efforts. Following are some of the other reasons of the failure of NGOs:

  • ·        Weak administrative and management skills can quickly result in the failure of an NGO.
  • ·        The NGOs are required to have good accountability systems for the satisfaction of all stakeholders. A lot of NGOs are biased in this regard as they have a much better accountability system for the foreign donors while accountability for the national donors is not up to the mark. This is where the NGOs struggle and several times fails miserably.
  • ·        A lot of NGOs have the ego of working alone and they don’t seek help from any other NGO or the government when actually they should take it. Time has seen several such egoistic NGOs failing badly in meeting the requirements of the people of the community.
  • ·        Donors donate funds by asking the NGOs to fulfill their expectations with the money they are giving. Several NGOs who fail to meet the requirements of the donors also fail to survive.

Mission Heal : A fight Against Poverty

Mahatma Gandhi once truly said ‘’poverty is the worst form of violence’’. Poverty is an evil that breeds plenty of social evils like illiteracy, malnutrition and socioeconomic injustices. Mission Heal trust has been posing a potential fight against widespread poverty in India for years. It has emerged as a comprehensive movement against all social inequalities in India. However, it has largely been focusing on the education of the underprivileged children living in the backward areas.

Poverty, undoubtedly, deprives children of their basic rights. They cannot go to school because of lack of resources. Resultantly, poor economic circumstances put the future of children at stake. Mission Heal actively conducts various activities in order to eradicate the evil of poverty from the society. Different activities of the trust can be summarized as:

·        Free clothes distribution camps

·        Free distribution of food and books among the poor

·        Encouraging people to participate in the fight against poverty

Food and Clothes Distribution Camps:

Mission Heal trust send teams of volunteers to the remote areas where they manage camps to distribute basic food items and clothes. That is exactly how the trust strives to bring smiles on the faces of the destitute. It is understood that distributing clothes and food will not help eliminate poverty permanently. However, it can instill a little hope in them to get together their strength and fight their miserable circumstances.

Provision of free books and educational material for the children of the have-nots can make a considerable difference, though gradually, in bringing about prosperity in the society. Education is no doubt so potent a weapon that it has all the potentials to fight every kind of oppression. Mission Heal believe in the fact that the provision of education is the only way to fight the giant of widespread poverty in India.

Mission Heal Events:

A considerable number of events are organized on a regular basis. For instance, it organizes Health Awareness Program on World Health Day to conduct meetings and carry out food and clothes distribution programs. These programs are immensely beneficial to the society. Moreover, the most noteworthy work of the trust is organizing awareness camps in order to help fight diseases like cancer and HIV.

The population living in the slums does not have enough financial resources and access to reasonable medical treatment. Therefore, the volunteers of the trust help aware people on health issues to make the prevention as the best remedy for the diseases. Some of the important events of the trust can be enlisted as:

·        Health awareness  program

·        Meetings of Village Education Committee (VEC)

·        Awareness camps on education

Mission Heal Foundation fundraising program is the only major source to help generate revenue to help the people who are dying of hunger and ignorance in India. Every individual should acknowledge the services the trust has been offering to the backward communities in India for a considerable time period. Everybody can be the part of the Mission Heal Foundation by donating and participating in the activities of the trust.
