There are a number of NGOs working in India,
but people still have confusion and doubts about their work and repute. The
intention of this piece of information is to bust all the myths and tell about
all the facts associated with them. The MissionHeal NGO is doing a notable work in India along with many others and
helping a lot of people in the community. The opinion of some of the people
that NGOs are politicized, work for some political agenda and hold arms or
ammunition's etc are all myths and sick mentality of people. They are not like
this and are doing exceptional work in different fields of social welfare. Good
and bad NGOs are everywhere and people should not generalize any organization
merely on assumptions as that can demoralize them and totally shatter their
confidence and performance. They are working for the betterment of the society
and all the influential groups and individuals should support their cause in
every possible capacity. India needs more and more NGOs and they surely are
making a difference with their untiring efforts and exceptional work for the
benefit and advancement of the society.
NGOs
are humanitarian group:
The NGOs like Mission Heal are humanitarian groups and work for the betterment
and advancement of the society. Working for the humanitarian sector is their
top priority beside some other tasks which they do as well. They also work for
the environment which indirectly and sometimes directly too, help the
humanitarian group. Further, there are some NGOs that work for the protection
of animals and some other similar things and that role is also very
appreciable. There is no government influence or political agenda in any way.
The only interaction with the government is when they approach them for funds
or otherwise join hands in collaboration to speed up any relief work in the
time of any disaster or emergency situation in the country.
Range
or scope of the NGOs:
The NGOs can have a different scope of work
where they operate in. The smallest NGOs are those which work locally and are
called local NGOs. Then, there are national NGOs out of which Mission Heal is one. Last but not the
least are the international NGOs which are very powerful, influential and work
across the globe on different international level welfare agendas.
NGOs
are nonprofit:
One pivotal characteristic of NGOs is that
they are not for profit organizations. They work solely for the welfare of
people and do not use any money funded to them for their personal use. There
are some NGOs who do have certain projects and services which they offer to the
general public against money or monetary benefits. All the profit generated
through the selling of their products and services is used again by the NGOs, but for the welfare of the people of the community. There
is never any intention by the NGOs to use the profits for their personal
benefits.
