Mission Heal- Educating the Poor

India is one of the biggest poverty stricken countries in the world. There is a huge percentage of people lying beneath the ‘below poverty line’ in India. With the increasing population it is necessary to contain this vicious cycle. Poor families can only find redemption if they educate their children. Various NGO’s are working towards this process. They are trying to alleviate the standard of education of the poverty stricken families. Mission Heal is one such organization which works towards providing various resources like books, midday meals, stationery and other facilities for the poor children.

The scenario of the condition of poor families in India is extreme. Young children have to resort to rag-picking and newspaper distribution and lose the prospect of education along the way. This is because the parents do not guide their children properly and the family is in dire need of money. Wrong company makes the situation worse. The wrong friends communicate the wrong perception of school to the unaware children. It is of paramount importance that such misconceptions be cleared from the child’s mind before he/she joins the school. It is necessary to educate these children to improve their situation and their family’s situation. Mission Heal helps young children grow an affiliating nature towards schooling.
Mission Heal is an independent NGO having no affiliations with the government or any religious backgrounds. Their sole purpose is to raise the standard of living of the under-privileged society. With one caring hand on preserving the environment and with the other it promotes education. The organization also works towards the benefit of women and educating them. They usually work in the villages where the percentage of literate population is less. With so much to do, they are often lent helping hands by the government and people.
A little social work is what these NGO’s ask from the common working man. Mission Heal wants candidates who can either donate money or work for the organization. Working for the organization means taking active part in the various activities held by Mission Heal may it be for nature preservation purposes or uplifting the society by educating children or women. Involvement is all they ask from you.
How many times have you witnessed child-labor or extreme poverty or a helpless woman? And how many times have you contributed towards eradicating that situation. Stepping down from your family duties and making some time for helping these people is essential. It is necessary to take active participation in such roles for the future of the country, political or economic background should not be a barrier. It is only when all the people contribute to the society that a better nation is formed. It will also give you a sense of pride when you help a fellow Indian. You will not get that same feeling from any other accomplished endeavor.  So lend a helping hand to the poor, educate the young and teach the under-privileged women for the welfare of the society and the nation.
